Financial Responsibility

As a courtesy, we will file insurance. It is expected that deductibles, co-payments, and other amounts not covered by insurance will be paid prior to services being provided. Accepted forms of payment include personal cash, check, money order and credit card. Payment may be made over the phone prior to your procedure or at check in at Norman Endoscopy Center. If you have questions at any time, let us know.

Patients without health insurance are asked to contact the Norman Endoscopy Center business office so that payment arrangements can be made. Patients without health insurance are offered a 50% discount for endoscopy procedures. In order to take advantage of the discount, payment in full is expected on day of service.

Patients should be aware that they could receive up to four separate bills for their procedure. Norman Endoscopy Center charges for the facility fee. A separate bill is to be expected from the physician (Norman Gastroenterology Associates) and anesthesia services (NGA Anesthesia PLLC). If specimens are taken during procedure a pathology charge will also be incurred. NOTE: Norman Endoscopy Center is a separate facility from the physician's office.

Questions About Your Bill

After you’re discharged, a statement will be mailed to you for any balance due after your insurance company has processed your claim. Payment is due upon receipt and may be made by cash, check, money order or credit card.

When you receive your statement, please contact the phone number printed on your statement.

Cancellation Policy

To ensure patients can receive timely access to high-quality care, appointment cancellations and no-shows need to be kept to a minimum. There will be a $75 late-cancellation fee for no-shows or cancellations within 24 hours of your procedure appointment. This fee is your responsibility and is not reimbursable by your insurance company. Please contact us as soon as possible if you need to cancel or reschedule your procedure appointment.

This fee may be waived in the event of unavoidable circumstances (i.e.) death, major illness, hospitalization, etc.
